Strategic metals exploration company Dakota Minerals has begun drilling operations at its lithium project in the Pilgangoora region of Western Australia.
The Lynas Find Lithium Project is 100% owned by Dakota Minerals and is located near an extensive lithium-tantalum bearing pegmatitic dyke swarm.
“The drilling is targeting areas of high grade spodumene mineralisation at Central Lynas Find, averaging 1.7% Li2O and up to 5.1% Li2O from comprehensive surface sampling in early 2016,” the company said in an ASX Announcement.
The drilling programme is being carried out by Mt Magnet Drilling.
