Ventures Resources recently announced that its diamond drilling program targeting the high-grade Inferred Supergene Resource is currently underway at Sulphur Spring, located 144km south-east of Port Hedland in WA.
According to the release, the drill programme will consist of 17 diamond holes targeting the western side of the Sulphur Springs ore body. Further, it is designed to in-fill the western portion of the current Inferred Supergene Resource of 0.8Mt at 4.20% Cu, and collect samples for metallurgical test work.
“Of the planned 17 holes, 11 are designed to test approximately 60% of the currently identified Inferred Supergene Resource (800,000 tonnes at 4.2% Cu),” said the Company. “A further six holes are planned to test deeper sections of the fresh part of the Resource that is located within the outline of the planned open pit.”
An aerial geophysical survey is also underway targeting corridor between Sulphur Springs and Kangaroo Caves deposits.
